The Bitterroot Valley offers many extra-curricular activities enjoyed by homeschool students and their families. MATCHE will update this page regularly to list descriptions and provide contact information for activities that are created for or specifically offered to homeschoolers. Some of these activities may be open to all students, not just homeschool students. As with any activity, parents should use their own discretion in deciding what activities and environments are appropriate for their children.
Bitterroot Homeschool Choir
The Bitterroot Homeschool Choir meets once a week and has two performances a year, in December and May. There are no age restrictions, but we ask that students be old enough to sit through a two hour rehearsal and have at least a basic reading ability. For more information please contact Mrs Heidi Alteneder at mountainmelodiesmusicstudio.com.
Bitterroot Homeschool Athletic Association (BHAA) is a homeschool sports organization that serves the Bitterroot Valley, Montana. BHAA arranges competitive games with other homeschool sports organizations & Christian schools under the Montana Christian Athletic Association. Participation is open to 7th-12th graders, and players pay a fee to offset the cost of insurance, equipment, uniforms, and referees. Currently BHAA participates in volleyball, soccer, and girls & boys basketball. For more information, contact email@example.com.
