Standardized testing is not required in the state of Montana. However, there are multiple reasons why homeschool parents would choose to have their students tested periodically. MATCHE will offer an opportunity for standardized testing of students in third through eighth grade annually.

The Iowa Test will be administered to students who have completed grades 3 through 8 on Wednesday and Thursday, November 2-3, in Hamilton. Testing is offered exclusively to MATCHE member families, using a homeschool testing service that provides the results directly and exclusively to the parents. Pre-registration is required as each student's test must be ordered by the parents in advance. Please contact us by email to matcheonline@gmail.com for specific ordering instruction and additional information. The cost is approximately $25 per student, but varies based on parent preferences when tests are ordered directly through the testing service. MATCHE does not charge any fee for test proctoring or administration.
